Stained Glass Beginner Workshop

This 3-hour hands-on workshop is designed especially for beginners and takes you through the copper foil stained glass process from start to finish. No previous glass experience is needed, and you don't need to bring any tools or supplies.
Choose Your Shape & Glass
You'll begin by choosing one of four designs: 5" Circle, 3-1/2"x 6" Oval, 3-1/2"x 6" Rectangle or 6-1/2" Diamond.
Next, choose your favorite color from our workshop selection of art glass. With a variety of colors, textures and levels of transparency available, you'll be able to give your project a look that's distinctly your own.
Each 8-piece design features a sparkling clear bevel cluster at its center. The beveled glass catches and refracts the light, creating a beautiful focal point surrounded by the art glass you select.
Learn the Stained Glass Process
This is a true hands-on stained glass workshop. You are not assembling a pre-cut project. You'll learn how to safely handle, score and break glass as you cut four pieces for your project yourself.
From there, you'll be guided through grinding and fitting your glass, applying and burnishing copper foil, assembling and soldering your design, and finishing the perimeter with lead U-channel for a clean, professional edge. You'll add the hanger wires, clean and polish your piece, and leave with a completed stained glass project ready to display.
You'll learn beginner techniques that focus on good craftsmanship from the very first project, so you'll leave with a finished piece you'll be proud to display.
Everything Is Included
Your workshop includes your choice of pattern, art glass, four clear glass bevels, copper foil, solder and other materials, use of all necessary stained glass tools and equipment, and 3 hours of hands-on instruction.
