Fused Glass Spiderweb Plate Workshop

Create a little something spooky for the season! In this hands-on fused glass workshop, you'll make a striking 7" x 7" spiderweb plate that is perfect for Halloween treats, jewelry or seasonal display.
We'll cut and carefully space white opal glass on a black opal base, allowing the dark glass beneath to form the web design. Then comes the fun part: creating the spider! You'll use black opal glass nuggets for the body and gently bend black opal stringers over a candle flame to shape eight wonderfully creepy legs.
With clear, step-by-step guidance, you'll learn glass cutting, layout, and decorative flame bending techniques while creating a finished piece you'll be proud to bring out every Halloween.
No experience is needed, and all glass, tools and supplies are included. After the workshop your piece will be kiln-fired and shaped into a gently curved dish, ready for pickup at the studio in 7 days or so.
Because every web and spider will be made by hand, each finished dish will have its own one-of-a-kind personality.
