Restoration Project

My latest project was to restore two 100 year old transoms out of a brownstone in New York City.  I received pictures of the windows via email and was asked if this is a project that I would take on.  “Absolutely” was my response.

The transoms were shipped to me and they were in horrible shape.  The leaded panels were bowed as much as one and a half inches causing some of the glass to break and the entire perimeter of the glass had multiple coats of paint.

After the process of disassembling, cleaning, stripping, reassembling, and polishing the windows turned out great.  What a difference!

The client was extremely pleased with the results and so was I.
